We have been so happy to have our students back (plus a few new faces) and enjoying time at the barn and in the saddle! Of course, that has not come without a few new ways of doing things. We appreciate all of our wonderful riders, parents, and staff who have been doing their part by wearing masks to the barn and adhering to social distancing guidelines. We have all been working hard to keep everyone safe while at the barn...but now it's time to play hard, too! Crimson Stables will be hosting our first fun show of 2020 on Saturday, September 12th!
As you can imagine, this show will look a little different than our past shows. This post is meant to serve as a guide for what to expect at our show, and how you can help keep it running as smoothly and safely as possible. Please read it carefully and don’t be afraid to ask questions! We hope to see you there!
Our show bill for this show has been dropped to 1o classes. This is to help decrease the overall number of individuals at the barn on the day of the show. Classes will run as a single group unless there are more than 6 riders that sign up for any given class, in which case the class will be split into an A group and a B group. There is no limit to how many classes a rider can enter, but they cannot enter the same class twice.
This show will be held in our outdoor arena. Riders are limited to 2 spectators per rider, and all spectators must stay in the grassy areas around the outdoor arena. For this show, instructors and barn staff ONLY will be permitted into the barn. Riders will be asked to wait near the marked holding area and horses will be brought from the barn to them for classes.
For this show, the upstairs portion of the lounge will be closed to all riders and spectators.
We will keep the basement of the lounge open through the garage door that is at the beginning of the sidewalk leading up to the barn. The bathroom in that area will be open on a limited and monitored capacity throughout the day.
There will be areas in the grass next to the outdoor arena marked for spectator viewing and set up. Spectators are encouraged to bring either chairs or blankets to sit on. Directional pathways will be placed around the barn and property to cut down on the amount of people passing each other, we ask that you please follow these paths as you move around.
Hand sanitizer will be available at the front of the sidewalk leading to the barn, in the basement and bathroom, as well as near the outdoor arena.
There will be some concessions available on the day of the show, however spectators are still welcome and encouraged to bring food if there are safety concerns. Concessions will be available via cash or online payment, however online payment or exact change is encouraged.
The bathroom and basement area will be sanitized on a regular schedule throughout the day. All tack and equipment used by riders will be sanitized between each use.
As always, masks are required at all times, by everyone, while visiting Crimson Stables.
If you or anyone you know has experienced or is experiencing a cough, fever, or any other related symptoms or is feeling unwell, we ask that you do not enter the facilities at this time.
We are looking forward to this fun filled day of horses and riding, but can only do it with everyone’s cooperation to our safety guidelines for the day! You can find the show bill for this show by following this link: https://bit.ly/32nTUzK

As always, please feel free to ask any questions and we hope to see you at the show
